Annal Jyoti Boarding School is organising Inter-School Volleyball Tournament every year. The tournament commenced on 2058 BS and is still continuing. The tournament is conducted valley wide at the school level.

It is done in three categories of Boys, Girls and Mini Boys. For Boys and Girls categories, students up to class 10 can participate whereas for Mini Boys category students upto 5 feet and 48 Kg and 13 years or below can participate.

The Tournament is held with the name "Annal Jyoti Volleyball Championship" for the running Trophy "AJS CUP". AJS is the short form for Annal Jyoti School.

The Tournament is organised generally at the second week of December (month of Mangsir)

The Purpose of the tournament is provide the platform to the students to show their sporting skills, anchoring skills, volunteering and socialization of the students. Also, schools get the opportunity to promote the notion of cooperatation and coordinatation thus reducing the sense of competition. The reason to choose volleyball is that it requires small area for the court and the founder principal Ms Jyoti KC is the member of National Volleyball Association.GO BACK
